The open plan nature of our service provides an inviting place where all children are connected, we provide a stimulating environment for learning and exploration. Play spaces are carefully constructed, and are based on the children’s interests and current community and cultural events.
Little Possums
The Little Possums room provides care for children aged between six weeks to three years of age. Our focus is to provide a warm and nurturing environment for our babies and toddlers and to ensure a smooth transition into childcare for those new to care.
Our program is developed based on each child’s individual goals as discussed between parents and educators, as well as including play based and spontaneous learning activities.
Preschool Room
The Preschool room provides care for children aged between three to five years of age. The preschool program reflects the individual goals of each child as discussed between parents and educators, as well as play based and spontaneous activities.
The Preschool Room also provides a school readiness program for those children that will be transitioning into primary school. Whilst the school ready children participate in this learning experience, the younger preschoolers will be able to participate in a group learning activities appropriate to their age and developmental needs.
Outdoor Area
We offer a play space that enables imaginative play, as well as physical and natural exploration. Our outdoor area includes two sandpits, permanent play equipment and additional resources that are changed regularly based on children’s interests. Our yarning circle provides a group learning space and our large veranda is a space to play out of the elements. Our Little Possums have their own space to play safely.
